Volunteer with Us
Volunteers are the heart of our organization. We have volunteer opportunities for all ages from young adults and children (with adult supervision) to active senior citizens. Businesses and organization are also encouraged to do group volunteer activities through Elder Care Services.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Meals on Wheels
Deliver meals beginning around 10:30 am, M-F and provide a safety check to homebound seniors. For ages 18 and older; children with adult supervision. -
Seniors Transporting At Risk Seniors (S.T.A.R.S.)
Provide transportation to medical appointments and grocery shopping. On an on-call basis. For ages 18 and older with a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Those 55 and older are eligible to participate in the STARS program. -
Elder Day Stay
Provide extra hands to assist clients in activities, crafts, sing-a-longs and dining from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm at our “Home Away from Home” facility. -
Senior Companions
Assist frail elderly clients and persons with disabilities in their homes or at the Elder Day Stay 20 hours per week. For ages 60 and older who are income eligible. -
Foster Grandparents
Provide one-on-one assistance to children with special and exceptional needs 20 hours per week. For ages 60 and older who are income eligible. -
Retired & Senior Volunteers
Match your interests and skills with non-profits, healthcare facilities, schools and other offices requesting assistance. Time commitments are flexible. For ages 55 and older. -
Client Emergency Assistance
Help stock our pantry with non-perishable food items, Ensure, adult briefs, heaters, blankets, fans, etc. Great opportunity for collection drives.
Assist a senior with their utility payment. -
Special Events and Fundraisers
Be a part of the fun - special events such as Oktoberfest and Let’s Do Lunch need volunteers to make them successful. - Elder Call - a telephone reassurance program designed to help isolated seniors feel connected. Volunteers make weekly calls to 2 to 3 assigned seniors.
