Nutrition Assistance
When you call Elder Care Services for information or help, you reach a caring, well-informed Information and Referral Counselor who is committed to answering questions and responding to your requests. Providing nutritious meals to seniors who cannot buy or prepare the food themselves is a priority of Elder Care Services.
- Meals on Wheels
- For homebound seniors, Meals on Wheels provides two meals a day, five days a week, delivered by caring volunteers who also provide a safety check. Cick here to learn more about Meals on Wheels.
- Senior Lunch Bunch
- For seniors who want to get out of the house, Senior Lunch Bunch offers an opportunity to gather for a nutritious lunch at local community settings with fellowship and nutritional education. Click here to learn more about Senior Lunch Bunch.
- Care Management
- Seniors can also receive in-home assistance in preparing meals from a direct care worker, as part of a comprehensive Care Management plan. Click here to learn more about Care Management.
- Senior Companions

- Emergency Assistance Programs
- Our Emergency Assistance Programs include the ECS Food Closet to provide immediate nonperishable food assistance to individuals over 60 years of age as well as Farmer's Market Coupons to allow for discounted purchases of fresh produce. Click here to learn more about Emergency Assistance Programs.
