Oktoberfest is Elder Care Services' annual, signature event held at Goodwood Museum and Gardens. It features hearty German food prepared by ECS' own food director and kitchen staff. The 2009 buffet was sponsored by the Tom and Elva Brady Foundation.

For the past several years, the traditional biergarten has been sponsored by Tallahassee State Bank where patrons can purchase commerative beer steins that include unlimited refills. In addition to the beirgarten, beer tasting is offered throughout the evening, courtesy of the North Florida Homebrewers.

The 2009 crowd enjoyed live music from DeepWater and entertainment from The German School of Tallahassee, including dancers and sing-alongs.

The 2009 Silent Auction featured lunch with Coach Mike and Carol Martin, one-of a-kind, handmade collegiate aprons (FSU, UF, UGA, & FAMU), as well as jewelry from The Gem Collection and Tallahassee Diamond Center.

Starbuck's provided complimenary coffee and Mainline sponsored the free pretzels served by volunteers from Tallahassee Community College's Student Government and Florida State Medical School Society.

Oktoberfest's success is based on the loyalty and support of the following Oktoberfest 2009 sponsors:
